Medical Weight Loss
If you’ve done a lot, tried a lot, and felt like nothing has worked, you haven’t failed. The system has failed you. Most weight loss programs force you to choose between two limited options: Medical clinics that prescribe medications but offer little lifestyle support -OR- Gyms and trainers that provide workouts but no medical oversight. At New Summit Wellness, we bridge that gap by offering hormone therapy, medications, AND fitness + nutrition coaching.

Weight Loss Medications
“I feel like I should be able to do this on my own. Like taking medication is cheating.”
Dr. Groner often hears something like this from patients seeking help to lose weight and it’s time to challenge it. No one hesitates to take insulin for diabetes!
At New Summit Wellness, we believe that losing weight shouldn’t be about suffering or shame—it’s about science-backed solutions that support your health and well-being. That’s why Dr. Groner offers GLP-1 medications, which are a powerful tool in medical weight management to help regulate appetite, metabolism, and insulin response.
Why Medical Weight Loss?
If you’ve struggled with losing weight despite diet and exercise, you’re far from alone. Hormones, genetics, and metabolism all play a role in how our bodies store fat and burn energy. GLP-1 medications like Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) and Tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound) work by addressing the biological factors that make weight loss difficult, helping you achieve sustainable, long-term results.
What to Expect
Your weight loss journey starts with a comprehensive consultation with Dr. Jennifer Groner. She takes the time to understand your medical history, lifestyle, and goals before creating a personalized plan tailored to your needs. Our approach combines:
- Advanced lab testing to assess metabolic and hormonal factors.
- GLP-1 medications to help regulate appetite and support healthy weight loss.
- Ongoing guidance to ensure lasting results and overall well-being.
You Are Not Lazy
Weight loss is about more than willpower… it’s about biology. And you don’t need to suffer to prove anything. If you’re ready to explore real solutions, we’re here to help. Call 816-357-0500 to book an appointment with Dr. Groner today and take the first step toward a healthier you.
