About Dr. Jennifer Groner
Dr. Jennifer Groner is a board-certified family medicine physician with fellowship training in obstetrics and women’s health. As a faculty member for UMKC’s family medicine program, she spent the first fifteen years of her career educating doctors-in-training and delivering babies in the Kansas City area.
Due in large part to her own experience with the benefits of hormone replacement, she obtained additional training in menopause and andropause care to be able to bring those same benefits to her patients.
Dr. Groner founded New Summit Wellness to provide better access to the safest, most effective treatment for hormone depletion—bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). She has a passion for educating her patients about the long-term benefits of maintaining optimal hormone levels and loves witnessing the transformation that occurs when individuals regain their health and vitality through BHRT.
Dr. Groner is a certified menopause provider through the North American Menopause Society (NAMS). She also holds a certificate in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy Optimization through the Academy for Preventative and Innovative Medicine.
Dr. Groner received her undergraduate degree at The University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) and her medical degree at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, MO. She is a mother of two and loves to vacation in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
